  • The Shenandoah National Park oral history collection, SC# 4030, (SdArch SNP), consists of 135 interviews of people who were living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia prior to the creation of the Shenandoah National Park. The people interviewed resided on what became federal property by eminent domain and who were subsequently evicted from their homes by the US government when the park was dedicated in 1934.
